North Hills Indians Varsity Victorious Franklin Regional Thanks To First Inning Boost


North Hills Indians Varsity put up four runs in the first on its way to a 7-1 victory over Franklin Regional on Tuesday. The big inning was thanks to a single by Garret Barto, a groundout by Tanner Schmitt, and a double by JT Mazula.

North Hills Indians Varsity got on the board in the first inning when Barto singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

Joey Pusateri got the win for North Hills Indians Varsity. He allowed two hits and one run over seven innings, striking out six.

Alex Frey took the loss for Franklin Regional. He lasted five innings, allowing seven hits and seven runs while striking out six.

Barto went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead North Hills Indians Varsity in hits.
