Apodaca's Walkoff Gives North Hills Indians Freshman Victory Over Upper St. Claire


A walk-off error propelled North Hills Indians Freshman to a decisive, dramatic victory over Upper St. Claire, 5-4. North Hills Indians Freshman was down 4-3 in the bottom of the seventh inning when an error scored two runs for North Hills Indians Freshman.

North Hills Indians Freshman earned the victory despite allowing Upper St. Claire to score three runs in the third inning. Upper St. Claire scored its runs on a double by Schmitt.

Kerry Wolff led the North Hills Indians Freshman to victory on the pitcher's mound. He surrendered zero runs on zero hits over one-third of an inning, striking out one and walking zero.

McClintock toed the rubber for Upper St. Claire. He lasted four innings, allowing five hits and two runs while striking out one. Henricks threw two and two-thirds innings in relief.

Jake Rebel started the game for North Hills Indians Freshman. He went six and two-thirds innings, allowing four runs on six hits and striking out three

North Hills Indians Freshman had six hits in the game. Anthony McCall and Robert Dickerson all had multiple hits for North Hills Indians Freshman. Dickerson and McCall each collected two hits to lead North Hills Indians Freshman.

Mckeever led Upper St. Claire with two hits in three at bats.
