North Hills Indians Freshman Sets The Stage For Victory With Early Lead Over Central Catholic


North Hills Indians Freshman defeated Central Catholic 15-3 thanks to a strong start. North Hills Indians Freshman scored on a sacrifice fly by Alec Apodaca, a stolen base by Josh Dreyer, a single by Tyler Cote, a single by Aidan Tumpa, a walk by Robert Dickerson, an error, a single by Apodaca, a stolen base by Dickerson, and a single by Cote in the first inning.

North Hills Indians Freshman secured the victory thanks to 12 runs in the first inning. The rally was led by singles by Cote, Tumpa, Apodaca, and Cote, walks by Anthony McCall and Dickerson, a triple by McCall, a sacrifice fly by Apodaca, by Max Sharp, and an error on a ball put in play by Dreyer.

After Central Catholic scored one run in the top of the third, North Hills Indians Freshmananswered with one of their own. Central Catholic scored when Farrel grounded out, scoring one run. North Hills Indians Freshman then answered when Jake Rebel doubled on a 3-0 count, scoring one run.

Cote pitched North Hills Indians Freshman to victory. He lasted five innings, allowing four hits and three runs while striking out four.

Deluca took the loss for Central Catholic. He lasted one-third of an inning, allowing two hits and nine runs.

Cote went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead North Hills Indians Freshman in hits. North Hills Indians Freshman tore up the base paths, as three players stole at least two bases. Dreyer led the way with three.

Palahunik led Central Catholic with two hits in three at bats.
