North Hills Indians Varsity beat Hampton 4-1 on Monday.
North Hills Indians Varsity captured the lead in the first inning. With two outs in the first inning Luke Chutko drove in one run when he singled.
North Hills Indians Varsity took the lead for good with three runs in the fourth inning. In the fourth JT Mazula doubled off of A Steedle, driving in one run and Chutko singled off of Steedle, driving in two runs.
Garrett Barto earned the win for North Hills Indians Varsity. He threw six innings, allowing one run, two hits, and striking out five. Chutko recorded the last three outs to earn the save for North Hills Indians Varsity. Steedle took the loss for Hampton. He pitched four innings, allowing four runs, six hits, and striking out nine.
